Partner Event: 50-plus startups will showcase their ideas on June 4-5 at Echeclon 2013

Echelon 2013, Singapore’s flagship technology startup networking event, organized by local media company e27, gets underway in the first week of June. As in previous years, the run-up to the event kicked off March 30 with the Indonesia satellite. The satellites are regional outreach initiatives through which finalists are chosen to pitch at the main event.

Apart from Indonesia, the satellites this year included Hong Kong, Taiwan, Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Japan and of course, Singapore. More than 50 startups have been chosen through the satellites to showcase their products or services at the Startup Marketplace while the top 10 will participate in the open Startup Pitches at the event.

Catch up on all the action so far around Echelon 2013 (as reported by e27):

Incidentally, since 2011, when we started covering Echelon as a media partner, only one Indian startup, Spatial Ideas, has ever made it to the top 10 list of startups picked to pitch at the event. Of course, the event doesn’t host an India satellite, which may be why there isn’t usually a big Indian presence at the event.

If you’d like to attend the two day event on June 4-5, head over to the ticketing. The early bird offer is still available.
