Partner Event: Waygo is most promising startup at Echelon 2013

After an intense hour of pitching, our esteemed set of judges selected Waygo as the Most Promising Startup for Echelon 2013.

Echelon 2013 is all about validating the promise of the startup ecosystem in the Asia Pacific region. This year, 10 of the region’s top startups have pitched their tech startups to a set of seven esteemed judges, who come from the entrepreneur and investment community. After an intense pitching session, and with judges offering their bits of advice to the startup founders, Waygo has emerged as the most promising.

Waygo is a Optical character reader (OCR) translation app. Hover your smartphone camera over Chinese and instantly read it without connecting to the internet. The startup currently monetize through in-app purchases and is part of the 500 Startups accelerator batch that graduated in February earlier this year.

Waygo emerged as the most promising startup at our Taiwan satellite.
