Mumbai-based local search company JustDial has raised $10 million Series D funding from SAP Ventures and Sequoia Capital Global Equities, said a press release. The company has earlier raised venture capital from SAIF Partners, Sequoia and Tiger Global. It did not specify how it plans to deploy the fresh capital infusion.
Founded in 1994 by VSS Mani, the company claims over 57 million unique users across 250 cities in India and over 1.35 lakh paid advertisers. It has also launched local search services in North America and plans to expand to Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore. Last year the company also announced plans for an initial public offering through which it hopes to raise about $156 million.

Gurgaon-based travel service portal MakeMyTrip will list on the Nasdaq under the symbol MMYT. It has filed a registration statement with the SEC for a proposed initial public offering (IPO) of its ordinary shares. The number of shares to be offered and the price range has not yet been determined. Morgan Stanley will be the sole bookrunning manager and Oppenheimer & Co and Pacific Crest Securities will be co-managers.
