The Nadathur S Raghavan Center for Entrepreneurial Learning (NSRCEL) in Bangalore wrapped up the first of its bi-annual Ecosystem Summit yesterday. The summit creates a platform to get three elements of a business together – the startup, its customers and interested investors – to engage in brainstorming sessions.
Here’s a look at some of the startups that participated in the event on Friday:
BooksTalk – Audio books company founded by Jayashree Easwaran and Jay Madhukar. More about the company and the founders here. The company was incubated at NSRCEL.
BrizzTV – Digital media technology company that enables Internet users to share personal content on television through DTH (direct-to-home) technology. Founded by Amarendra Sahu, Jitendra Jagadev and Krishnan Varadaran, the company is currently being incubated at NSRCEL. Read more about them here.
Greendzine Technologies – Develops green products and technologies in the areas of mobility, power grid and do-it-yourself green products. Its first product Irrway is a battery-powered three-wheel vehicle, somewhat similar to the Segway. The company has been founded by Nagaraja Rao.
Idea Device – Develops information technology automation products for enterprises. Founded by Aditya Sood and Saju Pillai, the company is currently being incubated at NSRCEL.
MeshLabs Software – Developer of enterprise solutions that enable knowledge discovery, collaboration and networking. Founded by Venkatesh Rao, Sampath Herga, Shantanu Gudihal and Arijit Mitra, the company was incubated at NSRCEL.
Onus Payments – Provides cashless payment solutions in closed economies like academic campuses and schools. Founded by GG Srinivas and Hariharan, the company is currently being incubated at NSRCEL.
Red Force Labs – Security research and products company that offers solutions to prevent against identity theft and identity fraud. Founded by Yash KS, who heads research and development, the company is currently being incubated at NSRCEL.
