The forum is being organized by Advantage Ventures, a boutique investment advisory firm based in Hong Kong and Beijing that fosters sustainable development by promoting investments in social ventures.

Some of the sessions to expect from the upcoming one-day event:

  • Social impact through investment in China
  • Non-profit organizations and investing for a mission
  • Family offices and sustainable investing
  • Social enterprise presentations

Some of the speakers expected at the event include Feng Lun from Vantone Real Estate, Xu Xiaoping from ZhenFund, Tang Min from China Social Entrepreneur Foundation, William Schoenfeld from Schoenfeld Family Office and, Chandran Nair and Yvonne Li from Advantage Ventures.

Advantage Ventures hosted its first social investment forum in Hong Kong in October 2010. The firm’s business activities include advising investments, managing social investments on behalf of corporations and investors and research. It also plans to launch Asia’s first Impact Investor Circle aimed at sourcing and aggregating social investment opportunities to a select group of investors.
