HelpingDoc targets 1 lakh monthly visitors

Delhi-based HelpingDoc has launched an online platform to enable patients across the National Capital Region to book online appointments with doctors.  Patients can connect with healthcare providers by accessing the website 24/7 to search for and book instant appointments with doctors.

The service, available free of cost to patients, also provides a provision to book appointments over telephone through HelpingDoc’s call centre. Healthcare practitioners can avail of the services for a nominal fee of Rs 499 per month, said a company press release.

The company launched its beta site on April 13 with seed funding  from founders Amit Bansal, Srinivas Gattamneni, Julian Hall, and Hemant Singhal. Since the beta launch, the site has seen more than 400 daily visitors. Over 14,000 visitors had visited the website as of May 29. By the close of 2012, the monthly visits are expected to rise to 100, 000 visitors every month, said the press release.
