IncuCapital Launches EFactor India

By | 21 February 2012 | 13:40

Pune-based early stage venture capital investor and incubator IncuCapital has tied up with San Francisco-headquartered EFactor, an online entrepreneurial community, to launch EFactor in India.  The Indian version will launch a series of activities to generate increased online and offline networking opportunities for local entrepreneurs, said a press release.

Entrepreneurs who sign up with EFactor will have access to a greater network of experts, advisors, potential clients, talent and funding sources, said the release. Globally, EFactor has grown its membership to close to one million across 185 countries since its inception in March 2008. The community was started by serial entrepreneurs Adrie Reinders, Marion Freijsen and Roeland Reinders.

IncuCapital is a group company of Bombay Stock Exchange-listed private equity firm Indiaco Ventures. It picks up a minority stake in companies that it incubates and becomes a co-founder. It also charges a monthly fee from startups for infrastructure and administrative expenses. The firm’s current portfolio includes EduAlert, PropertyPartners and Reddvise.
