Seeders Invests in Auto Classifieds Site CarSingh

Bangalore-based automobiles classifieds portal CarSingh has raised an undisclosed round of funding from Seeders Venture Capital, a seed investment firm that works out of Bangalore and Kolkata. The portal offers information and reviews about used and new cars along with finance and insurance services.

Seeders, founded by entrepreneurs Abhishek Rungta and Pallav, is among a recent crop of seed stage investors to enter the Indian startup funding market. It invests between Rs 5 lakh and Rs 50 lakh in each company in return for a 12-20 per cent stake. It invests primarily in software, games, SaaS and Internet-enabled mobile applications. Apart from CarSingh, the firm has also invested in online education company Eduora and farm sector focused web solutions startup Cropex.
