Proto.in 8th Edition in July

Startup showcase forum Proto.in will be back in July with its eighth edition. The event moves to Chennai, where the forum’s first-ever showcase was held. The event will showcase 15 startups chosen through a self-nomination process.

Some of the highlights of Edition 8:

  • The event’s platinum sponsor Sequoia Capital will host one-on-one mentoring sessions for 20 select startups
  • An interactive session with BSE officials on the stock exchange’s upcoming SME exchange
  • Venture capital investors such as Canaan Partners, DFJ, Seedfund and Ojas will attend the event

The event is scheduled for July 9 at Great Lakes Institute of Management. Nominations are currently  underway. Startups that are selected for the showcase will have to pay a fee of Rs 10,000. To attend the event you can buy a ticket for Rs 1,000.
