L-pad Startup Garage, Pune (Photos)

By | 05 May 2011 | 1:09

Pune-based virtual incubator L-pad wrapped up its debut networking gig Startup Garage last weekend. Modeled loosely on the StartupWeekend concept, the focus in this edition was on web startups. The event, held at the Maharashtra Institute of Technology, saw 26 people sign-up. It kicked off with a 2-minute idea pitch by each participant, followed by brainstorming, forming teams and building a prototype of their ideas. The weekend concluded with 8 teams making a refined pitch and outlining their immediate execution plans. L-pad plans to roll out Startup Garage in other cities soon.
