Mobile software startup Mobstac goes pro

Bangalore-based mobile software startup MobileMotion Technologies has launched a paid version of its mobile publishing platform MobStac. It rolled out MobStac Pro today as part of a tiered pricing plan for publishers.

Publishers can opt for the Pro version at $19 per month and avail of features such as custom ads, integration with third-party analytics services such as Google Analytics and manage up to three sites from one account. The company has also introduced additional features in the free version, chiefly a theme editor that allows publishers to customize the look of their mobile site.

Founded in June 2009 by IIT Madras alumnus Sharat Potharaju and Ravi Pratap M, MobileMotion rolled out the MobStac Blogger platform (now known as Mobstac B) in private beta in July 2010. It followed up with a public beta in October. MobStac B is used primarily by bloggers. The company also has an enterprise product called MobStac E. Details on the number of users in each category were not available.
