TiE-ISB Connect 2009, BarCamp Mumbai 6, Eureka! 2009

We’re entering the big season for startup and venture capital networking in India. Here’s an update on the marquee events to look out for in the next few months:

BarCamp Mumbai 6 – This edition is at the SP Jain Institute in Andheri West on October 11. The wiki page is down for maintainence, but you can register here. Also on the same day, BarCamp Kerala 6 kicks off at Rajagiri College in Ernakulam.

TiE-ISB Connect 2009 – The annual networking event in Hyderabad, on October 22 and 23, has an interesting theme this year, ‘The Crisis Will Pass…Will You? More details coming up soon.

Eureka! 2009 – Registrations are currently open for the country’s biggest business plan contest. The total prize money at Rs 21 lakh ($50,000) is a tad lower than last year’s Rs 25 lakh. The first prize at Rs 5 lakh remains the same. As usual, students and working professionals are invited to participate. Read the Mint story on last year’s winners here.

iAccelerator Winter Edition – The final shortlist for startups that will be part of this edition will be announced on October 1. The teams start working with their mentors on December 1, in Bangalore. See the list of startups currently being incubated at the IIM Ahmedabad campus here.
