While we wait for Proto.in to get here, HeadStart the other pouplar startup showcase forum India has produced in the last couple of years, makes its Mumbai debut on June 20 — details here. I’m getting to this a bit late. Here’s what to expect at the event:
- Demo Pits: 20 startups will be present at the Demo Pits to showcase their products/offerings.
- Startup Showcase: Nine companies, three each from different stages — early, seed and late — will be selected to make presentations before investors the audience and investors.
- Workshops: Get tips on making ‘one-page-business-plans’ and ‘early stage funding’.
- Meet the Entrepreneur: Listen in on the interaction between an apprentice entrepreneur and a successful entrepreneur (names to be announced).
The showcase is being held at Nehru Center in Worli Welingkar Institute in Matunga and is a one-day event.
