BarCamp Mumbai has moved out of the IIT campus. The fifth edition will be held at the Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute in Matunga (East). There isn’t much information up yet on the sessions planned. The event is slated for February 1.
Proto.in’s fifth edition is coming up this weekend, January 23-24, in Bangalore. What’s interesting? Definitely Startup Disco at Club99 at the end of Day One, the startup showcase, of course, and well, from what I’ve seen of the agenda, not much else. The sessions and speakers are okay. But, as usual, look forward to the unveiling of some interesting young companies.
And since we’re on unconferences, one takeaway from the recently concluded HeadStart event. TCS’ Co-Innovation Network has formalized a tie-up with Headstart (Headstart co-founder Aditya Mishra has everything to do with this). Startups will have a chance to reach out to large enterprises (potential customers) through this tie-up. Read Arpit’s post on the tie-up here.
