Maverick venture capitalist Timothy Draper has taken to blogging — he’s been at it sporadically since November — at The Riskmaster. He talks about women founders of DFJ-backed companies and repealing Sarbanes-Oxley among other things. This one should be an entertaining blog. Must follow.

Canaan Partners’ Alok Mittal has put up a 15-page ‘Entrepreneur Pitch WorkBook‘ at Venturewoods that outlines what the firm would like to see in business plans. It’s pretty comprehensive and could help with pitches in general.

Medianama has an interesting analysis on mainstream Indian media taking to Twitter and what it could mean. I’m happy to note that at least someone in mainstream media is waking up to online media, though, going by past experience, don’t know how long this latest fancy will last.

WSJ reports that former Vodafone Group CEO Arun Sarin may be in the running to take over as the new Yahoo! chief. Read the November 29 Outlook Business report on how India may save the day for the Internet company even as it struggles overseas.
