The MoMo Monsoon press release dropped into my mailbox this morning and with it one more bit of information — a new web design and solutions startup called NetBramha Studios. The formal launch was on July 19 and the website looks pretty slick. The services on offer include logos, themes, search engine optimization and Internet marketing among others.

Founder Aashish Solanki is a familiar name around the unconferencing circuit — many of the BarCamp Bangalore designs are his work. He is also a founding member of Yulop, a Bangalore-based startup focused on location-based services — read more about Yulop and Solanki’s role here. NetBramha Studios could be classified as an provider of intermediary services within the Internet space, which is actually quite crowded and therefore competitive. It is also an emerging area of interest with venture capital investors though deals will probably start happening when some differentiation begins to firm up in the space. Here’s wishing Solanki, who also dabbles in some theatre as part of a Bangalore-based production company called Aavega, all the best with his latest venture.

Back to MoMo Monsoon — this is a day-long event being organized by MoMo Bangalore on August 30 at the Indian Institute of Management. They’ve lined up a fairly impressive list of speakers and more than 300 people are expected to attend.
